Carefully&cleanly: Sharp scalpel blade, tweezers, magnifying glass. Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol for skin and tool prep. If wooden , sometimes soaking in water can cause splinter to swell and pop out. Don't forget tetanus booster and soapy wash after.
