What are differing reactions to codeine?

Codeine Side Effects: All of the opiates, including codeine, can cause nausea, vomiting, itching, constipation and sleepiness, and respiratory depression up to the point where you stop breathing and die. True allergic reactions to Codeine are rare but can occur.
