Very unlikely: Listeriosis (listeria infection) is primarily a foodborne disease. Exception will be an infection in fetus and newborn infant transfered from their mothers.

No: Listeria meningitis is usually contracted from eating foods contaminated with listeria. A person with a compromised immune system and infants are most at risk.
