Recommend: 2000iuD3: Vitamin d levels are inversely correlated with risks for prostate, breast, and colon cancer; inversely related to heart disease and stroke. I agree with your doctor, but the national academy of medicine recommends 2000iu d3. Most soft gel formulations are quite small, easy to take. I order mine through www.Puritan.Com. I take 5000iu.
