For example, dreams of blood & violence could relate to bipolar states, dreams of death & loss could mean depression or ptsd, dreams that wake you up in sweat could mean anxiety disorder, etc. Consult a therapist or psychiatrist experienced in dream interpretation.

No one ans: Dreams don't usually have a fixed meaning (as "dream books" suggest). Of importance are your recollections stimulated by the dream. For instance, one person might have had a wonderful experience recently, floating in tropical waters. Another might have nearly died, awakening floating after a boat accident. Sometimes there is a "metaphoric" meaning--e.g., "to float thru life".
