Call Surgeon ASAP: A laparoscopic tubal ligation typically can leave you feeling sore and referred pain to the shoulders can feel like someone dropped you on the floor (comment from my patient...) however, if you have worsening pain, sharp pain, or localized pain; call your doc, only they know if you had scar tissue, risks for bowel injury, or any other problems. I always have patients call if meds aren't enough.
