A member asked:

Is it wrong to be disgusted with my own behavior?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It could be better: If you're disgusted with your behavior maybe you will change your behavior so you can be pleased or proud of it. Nobody's perfect, so accepting that fact can allow you to keep working to improve. If you're disgusted with yourself you might be more likely to give up trying. It takes a lot of practice to be good at something. Just get started and work on it. Don't waste energy being disgusted.
