Is it possible to have herpes, but never break out with blisters?

Yes: Most of us, at least my generation contracted herpes simplex one from our family. Mom kisses baby and so forth. Unintentional as they did not know in the 40's- 60's for instance. It lives in the nerve ganglia forever. They tend to erupt during bouts of tiredness and at least for me excessive sun. Same place all the time. There are drugs to keep it from erupting. You can also get them intra orally.
