Depends on amount: First, be comforted that sex does not cause first trimester preg loss. The cervix softens due to prtegnancy. At times, the irritation of the cervix from sex may present with some bloody discharge or slight blood spotting to light bleeding. Worrisome signs are cramping, passing clots, or fever. Blood after wiping with tissue, after sex, is also not uncommon if it is slight.
