Can one drink alcohol while taking hydroxyurea ?

Yes, but...: In moderation, there should be no interaction between alcohol and hydroxyurea. If you take Hydroxyurea for sickle cell anemia, you should be careful with alcohol because alcohol can lead to dehydration which can precipitate a sickle crisis.
