A member asked:

What are some remedies / medications for stopping hpv?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Abstinence/vaccine: The hpv virus is rather well established within the population with ~ 70-80% of college juniors testing positive in some studies. To stop hpv you either avoid the contact that spreads it (sex) or get vaccinated prior to infection for those strains where a vaccine is available. There is no medication used to treat it & once it is in your system you have it for life (although most go dormant).
