Prozac (fluoxetine) and agression: The key to this answer is having the correct diagnosis. Nielssen et al 2012 found that first episode of psychosis resulted in violent suicide attempts (49%), major self-mutilation (54%), homicide (39%), and assault resulting in serious injury (38%). Five cases of paranoid exacerbation with the serotonin reuptake inhibitors fluoxetine have been reported in literature. Aggression needs accurate dx.
