Yes: There has been an enormous increase in the incidence of dengue over the last 40 years, probably due to a combination of urbanization, population growth, increased international travel, global warming, and a decrease in mosquito control programs.

Agree w Dr. Gallant: Aedes aegypti is a vector for yellow fever virus, dengue virus and chikungunya virus. The incidence of all three of these has increased over the last few decades.
