Individual: That is a very personalized question that should be tailored to your own knee deficits, pain level, and whether reconstruction surgery is right for you. If it is reconstructed, expect an 8-9 month recovery before sports. Our studies are showing that we are allowing out patients to return to sports too early. Take some time with your surgeon to discuss this.

Yes: Surgery will restore the stability to the knee and once your strength and agility return you should be able to be back to playing.
