A member asked:

How long does the white count stay elevated after getting corticosteroids?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not sure: The white blood cell count may increase within 3-4 hours of taking corticosteroids. I am not sure that there is an accurate time for the decrease. Much of it would depend on how long acting the steroid is.
