Do people with hearing problems usually end up feeling loneliness at later in life?

Isolation when deaf: Hearing problems do not necessarily have to cause a person to feel lonely. After all, if you live long enough, most everybody is in the same boat. Good hearing aids can really help, but you have to really work at learning to use them properly and have them checked and adjusted regularly or whenever it's hard to hear again. They are so much better than they used to be! it's up to you to connect.

Not necessarily: It is depressing losing one of your special senses such as hearing. Elderly are prone to feel lonely due to lack of support from thierry loved ones, or loss of spouse. But if they have a hearing aid, and good support from family members , they should do well.
