A member asked:

Is it safe for a woman to have had multiple abortions?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There are risks : Termination of pregnancy is a surgical procedure. Repeated uterine evacuations can have future problems. Scarring of the cavity is called Asherman syndrome & may lead to infertility. Additionally, the cervix may have trauma which may affect pregnancies. It would be hard to find an md who would say "they are without risks". Talk with your obgyn. It is concerning for your overall care.
