A member asked:

Is it possible to get healed from causalgia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

With time: Causalgia is an old medical term meaning “burning pain”. It is usually the result of damage to nerves. Nerves can repair themselves, but only simple nerves are able to this completely. In larger, more complex nerves the repair is incomplete. However, over a long period of time, months to years, the pain can fade. Certain medications, can help decrease the burning pain.
