Treat high thyroid : Graves' disease is condition in which an enlarged hyperactive thyroid gland makes too much thyroid hormone, thereby causing weight loss, fast heart rate, diarrhea, anxiety, feeling warm and other symptoms. Graves' is treated by lowering thyroid hormone levels using medications (e.g. Methimazole) , surgery or radio iodine. Beta blockers are other meds that lower heart rate and help to feel better.
