Underlying cause: Many times these are related to underlying environmental allergies, & so tx aimed at that can help a lot. An otc option that i usually tell my patients about are nasal saline sprays & sometimes nasal rinse products. Pls be careful to follow the directions carefully! otc antihistamines are plentiful but can have interactions. I usually recomend that my pts avoid decongestants. Prob talk w/ ur doc.
