Can you look at the hands to check for anemia?

No, not really: No you can not check for anemia just by looking at your hands. If one is very anemic with a very low hemoglobin, it may be seen more obvious- but you still don't know how low is the hemoglobin . Other people do have somewhat pale complexion- but does not mean they are anemic. Go to see your doc and have a basic blood test.
