Crinone (progesterone gel).: Crinone (progesterone gel) is a more absorbable formulation of vaginal Progesterone and approved to prevent preterm birth in women with very short cervix (<15-20 mm) by transvaginal prenatal ultrasound. Suppositories are not approved for that indication! use Crinone (progesterone gel) 8% (90 mg per 1.125g) nightly until 37 weeks if your physician agrees.
