A 40-year-old member asked:

is it beneficial to your health to drink semen in a survival situation?

No: I am not a survival specialist, but i doubt survival can occur just by drinking semen. Water is critical for survival, and i doubt the amount of liquid in an ejaculate is enough for continued survival over a prolonged period of time.

Probably: Thrusting firmly will increase friction and stimulation. This in turn will likely speed up time towards ejaculation.
A 24-year-old member asked:

Could it be solely my fault that I cannot ejaculate?

Dr. George Klauber
Specializes in Pediatric Urology
Probably: You are most likely the reason why you can not ejaculate. Reasons may by psychological if this only occurs on occasions. However you might have blocked ejaculatory ducts if you experience orgasm without ejaculation. This would need to be seen by a urologist. See a sex therapist if it is psychological.
A 39-year-old member asked:

Is it my partner's fault that I cannot ejaculate?

Dr. Robert Kwok

In most cases: no: The inability to ejaculate (to reach a climax) can be due to a variety of causes, but in most cases, the problem is not the partner. Causes include general fatigue, too many ejaculations in the past 24 hours, anxiety about the relationship or other things, fears, increasing age, medicine side effects (such as with ssri antidepressants), diabetes and other causes of poor blood circulation, etc...

White gelatinous: Semen is usually whitish + clear gelatinous with different combinations. More gelatinous with increased frquency of ejaculation. Blood in semen (hematospermia) is abnormal.
A 27-year-old member asked:

What is the consistency of normal semen?

1 doctor answer6 doctors weighed in
Dr. Kanthi Narra
Family Medicine 18 years experience
Varies: It is sticky to watery in consistency, there is a wide variation here. Semen clots almost immediately after ejaculation, forming a sticky, jelly-like liquid. It will liquefy again in 5 to 40 minutes. It is quite normal for semen to form jelly-like globules and this does not indicate any health or fertility problem.
