None: Following a tubal ligation you should have no side effects. Once your anesthetic wears off, you should feel fine. However, many patients complain of irregular or painful cycles, hormonal based symptoms (pmdd/pms), or ovulation pain: symptoms that were controlled nicely with their prior birth control. Many women take hormonal birth control to control these sx, so talk to your doc if this is you.
