Varies: Immediate reactions to a food can include hives, feelings of throat tightening and itching, shortness of breath, flushing of the skin and overwhelm feeling of doom. This can develop into nausea and vomiting as well as diarrhea. Some foods can cause a delayed skin reaction such as eczema and not always the immediate reaction.
