Options: A good health history should be taken, including sexual history & evaluation for high risk sexual behavior. At the minimum, a breast & pelvic exam with pap smear & cultures for std. All options for birth control should be offered & discussed. Usually a follow up for blood pressure check after 1-2 months if using birth control hormone therapy.
