Inhaled steroids: There are many inhaled steroid and although they have different potencies, they are adjusted on a milligram to milligram basis to achieve approximately the same clinical effect. Among inhaled steriods, most products have a low, medium and high dose recommendations. Inhaled steroids are available for nebulizers (pulmicort), dry powder inhalers (dpi- asmanex, advair), or metered dose inhalers (mdi).
