Hard to say: Any lab result gives a number that is compared to a range of normal. But even the extremes of "too high" can still be normal for an individual. If the result is a change, then a high neutrophil count makes me think of infection(since that is one of the bodies responses), inflammation, stress, reaction to medication or even cancer like leukemia. Talk with provider who ordered test to put in context.
