what can cause lower abdominal pain in women?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Arthur Heller

Gut, gyn, urinary: Those are the top 3 sources; neurologic less common. Among those are many, many causes. Depends on age, duration, location, quality of pain, e.g. Sharp, stabbing, dull, associated symptoms, etc. See your doc to figure out.
