Major+minor issues : Minor issues are headache, nausea, bloating, water weight gain, breakthrough bleeding, and decreased libido. Major issues are heart attack, blood clots and stroke which increase with age and there is an unacceptable higher risk with smokers over 35 which should not be taking the pill.
