How can a person live with congestive heart failure?

One day at a time: I have many patient living very productive lives. Doctor needs to treat the conditions that makes heart weak (htn, atrial fibrillation, irregular heart beats, anemai, diabetes, cholesterol etc) . Balance eating, exercise, and mostimportant pma (positive mental attitude).

Prognosis with CHF: Survival with CHF is variable depending on such factors as the cause of the heart failure (systolic versus diastolic) and the treatments employed. Use of beta blockers, acei/arbs, spironolctone, icd's, and cardiac resynchronization therapy positively influence prognosis greatly.
