Bleeding : Most of the cervical polyps are benign so normally they would leave it alone until after the pregnancy. If the polyp is rather large then they might be concerned that the bleeding might cover up other potentially important sources of bleeding related to the pregnancy. It is probably because of the size and continued bleeding that they want to take it out.
