Shoulder MUA: Not common at all. Mua of the shoulder is quite straight forward.

Rare: A fracture during manipulation of the shoulder to treat dislocation is a known albeit infrequent complication of this procedure.

Rare: The orthopedic surgeon doing the manipulation is trained to know the tolerances of the bones and joints they are working with. It is always possible with weak bones or tightly fused shoulders for this complication to occur, but the chances are small.
