A member asked:

Can you get tinea capitis from sitting on the sofa after a infected person sat there?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No.: Infection is at head/scalp, not body or buttock. Besides, fungus has to directly closely contact with the skin, otherwise would not cause infection.
