Many!: Many things can present as knee pain: meniscus tears, cartilage injury, muscle strain (calf or thigh), arthritis, bone bruise, infection, nerve injury, ligament injury, fracture, hip arthritis and problems (especially in children). If the pain does not resolve with rest, nsaids/tylenol, ice, and activity modification, see your doctor.
