Best not to: Tylenol (acetaminophen) & Ibuprofen compete for same binding sites so one can get too much active drug if taken simultaneously (& tylenol (acetaminophen) can damage liver if too much in system). Best to alternate the 2 meds at recommended intervals (4-6 hrs) & use cool compresses or luke-warm bath to help lower low-grade fever. If fever persists or child develops other symptoms, see pediatrician.
