No. : I usually advise my patients to not engage in any strenuous activity if they are still having pain. While serious injury or damage may not occur, it is risky to try to push it while you are still having symptoms. The safest thing would be to wait until you are pain-free before engaging in physician activity. If the pain doesn't go away, it may warrant further work-up by your surgeon.
