A member asked:

How often do you need to get an eye exam?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Eye examination is to detect problems and improve the vision with refraction. The time intervals vary with age, pre-existing eye condtions and systemic diseases. The intervals will vary based upon these. Beware of those who would schedule examinations too frequently in order to sell you more optical aids or perform lucrative tests.
