Therapy + Meds: Individual, group, and family and/or marital therapy are the mainstay of treatment. Support groups modeled on 12-step programs may also help. Antidepressants have also been shown to help some (regardless of whether or not person is clinically depressed), perhaps through minimizing obsessive-compulsive elements of bulimia. I have had some success using topamax (topiramate) to reduce binging.
