Ill Personality: Antisocial personality disorder is a mental illness and, while it is difficult to treat, it is treated primarily with psychotherapy and, sometimes, with added medications. Unfortunately, people with this disorder may not want treatment or think they need it. Often individuals with antisocial personality disorder are arrested because they have little or no regard for right and wrong.

Antisocial: The hallmark of antisocial personality disorder is for the person to have basically no conscience. No sense of right and wrong or social morals. This type of personality disorder is especially resistant to treatment. Occasionally meds can help with comorbid mood disorder, but there is no medication for the disorder itself.
