Maybe normal: Every child is different. We estimate the amount an infant should eat , but some infants gain weight well on slightly less formula or breast milk qty. If your child is gaining weight at approximately 3 oz or more per week at this age, and staying on his/her natural growth curve, then i would not worry about an exact amount. If not gaining well, then your md may give you a higher calorie formula.
