A member asked:

Should i eat gluten for rheumatoid arthritis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You can but no proof: Some have suggested that gluten can cause rheumatoid arthritis. This is not proven and viruses, bacteria in the gut, bacteria in the teeth, have all been implicated. If you wish to go go on a gluten-free diet you're welcome to try it but there are no promises. Over the ages people try all types of diets, antibiotics, and some people get better but it may not be cause-and-effect. We call it true true and unrelated to remission.
