Maybe: Abnormal liver chemistries (lfts) can be seen in abunch of disorders. Need a good history. Abnormal lfts generally initiate more testing to check on the cause for them, including viral infections (including hep c), autoimmune, metabolic, toxic, etc. Most patients with hep c don't have much in way of symptoms, tip off may be abnormal lfts.
