A member asked:

My wife accidentally inhaled fumes from ammonia and then muriatic acid about a week later? any harm?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: However, if she is symptomatic (i.e., intractable cough), a visit to a pulmonologist is in order. There is no extra cancer risk. One all-too-common mishap is in mixing bleach and ammonia -- the gas generated is far more dangerous. Your wife is fortunate to have such a devoted husband. Good luck.
