Not necessarily.: Drinking alcohol in moderation has proven positive health effects. Drinking alcohol in 'excess' can be deadly. I would discuss the type, frequency, amount etc. With your physician so they can guide you.

Drinking: For the sake of drinking is not good. A glass of wine or a social drink on occasion is ok. But drinking in general is not good for you. Have water instead
