Probably dry: A common reason for eyes to be watery in the mornings only is dryness which is exaggerated at night when the tear flow drops during sleep. If you do not have visual changes, pain, redness or swelling, then this is the likely reason. You might try applying otc eye ointment in each eye just before sleep.
