Scratch or irritant?: You might have something in there or was in there and scratched it. Getting oil or other substances like skin lotion after applying may cause the corner to burn. Try washing it out and keep you hands away from your eyes. The hands are a frequent source of irritants to the eyes. Put on any foot lotion recently?
