Not necessarily: A small stroke does not necessarily mean that you will have a larger stroke in the future, but it does increase your risk dramatically. It is important to be evaluated by a doctor to make sure that all stroke reversible risk factors are well controlled, and that you are on the appropriate medications for secondary stroke prevention.
