It depends: Not all holistic practitioners have medical training, where one learns to do complete physical exams. If your "holistic practitioner" happens to be an md, do, or nd, then these people do have the requisite training to do physical examinations.

Depends: This depends on the practitioner's scope of practice. An md or do can do the full exam. Others may be limited in what they are able to do.
