A 40-year-old member asked:
Why does my scalp hurts when I untangle my hair?

Tension: Your hair follicle has nerves that feed it and can sense pressure and pain. When you are attempting to untangle your hair, you are creating tension that signals the nerve to produce pain. Try using a detangler or conditioner to help reduce the pain/tension on the hair follicle.
